The Amplified team are today at Reboot Britain - a one day conference looking at almost every area of civic life in the UK - education, politics, the economy, the environment, public services - and how emerging technologies can resource, affect and change the way we live. There are keynote speeches, panel discussions and a whole load of amazing chat will be happening over coffee between those sessions.

Our job is to amplify (see what I did there?) those conversations.

The team is me (steve), Toby, Christian, Phil, Mark and Lucy - keep an eye out here for updates as the day goes on. We’ll be using Audioboo, 12 seconds, Flickr and of course Twitter to send you who can’t be here the best of what we find. The hashtag on all of it is just #rebootbritain…

Reboot organiser Steve Moore gives us an introduction:

[3:36]Have spent the last 40 minutes or so listening to an infuriating panel discussion on ‘Is The Web Female?’ - full of asinine observations like ‘women are cattier than men’ - I’ll audioboo some thoughts on it as soon as I can, but for now, here’s another lovely little interview by Documentally, with Nathalie McDermott of savvychavvy.com:
